RTTL/Nokring Format

RTTL/Nokring are the most popular formats of cellular phone ringtone. A RTTL/Nokring format ringtone MUST contain three specific elements For your phone to recognise it’s format. The three elements are name, settings, and notes.

The three parts are separated by a semicolon.

Part One – Ringtone name. For example, the singer/band and the name of the song.

Part Two – Settings. For example d=4,o=5,b=125

Part Three – The Notes. Each note is separated by a comma as in the example above.
